adam littman
With over two decades of experience mastering the saxophone and 15 years on the piano, Adam brings a wealth of musical knowledge and passion to every lesson. A proud graduate of the esteemed Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies, Adam has been immersed in the world of music both as a performer and an educator since 2010.
Adam has had the privilege of performing with numerous groups in the vibrant Austin music scene, most notably spending seven years with The Nightowls and nine years leading his own band, Mamahawk. In 2019, Mamahawk had the incredible opportunity to tour with the Grammy-nominated Black Pumas, further solidifying Adam's reputation as a versatile and accomplished musician.
As an instructor, Adam is dedicated to fostering a love of music in students of all ages and skill levels. With a teaching approach that combines technical proficiency, creative expression, and a deep understanding of musical theory, Adam aims to inspire and empower each student to reach their full potential.
